Arthritis Supplements
What foods are bad for arthritis?
Mar 18th
I’ve just been diagnosed with arthritis and wonder whether anyone can help on advising me what foods I should avoid so as not to make my condition worse? Someone has suggested that oranges are bad. Any advice on which supplements are good would also be helpful – I have been told that glucosamine and cod liver oil are good. Thanks.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS FROM CALCIUM SUPPLEMENTS ?
Mar 15th
Because I am post menopausal my doctor recommended I start taking calcium supplements. That was a year ago, and I really did not take them. Lately my arthritis seems to be getting worse and I did start taking the calcium about a month ago. I was wondering how long it would take to see some results. I realize that they will not cure my arthritis, but if they help the bone, a side affect may be that my arthritis may not worsen as quickly.
I think I developed arthritis in my left hip. What can I do to alleviate it?
Mar 12th
All of a sudden I get pain in my left hip a month ago, and it is still tender today. I don’t understand what happened. It seems that walking is helping a whole lot right now. Instead of being able to exercise it out, some of the problem is transferred to hyperextending my left knee too. What can I do?
Are there any supplements I can take to get rid of the arthritis?
I read that apple cider vinegar is supposed to be better than ice. Is this true?
What are some alternative treatments for arthritis?

My grandmother has arthritis in her hands and she takes medication, but it only helps to a certain extent.
I was wondering if there were any supplements or natural treatments that may help her?
What are some good natural remedies to help stop the progression of arthritis?
Mar 6th
I’m not sure what kind of arthritis I have. I always assumed that it was osteoarthritis because I don’t have any disfigured joints. However, after reading more about rheumatoid arthritis, I wonder if I have that. My joints all over are stiff and achy and my fingers are puffy. I heard that fish oil is good. How much of this can I safely take? What about other supplements? Thanks!
